Fender Eliminator Kit on my 2001 R6

I didnt like the plain metal look so I painted the frame of the kit flat black enamel. This would look good in almost any color to match your bike.

I also painted the spacer and adhered a layer of felt to the top where it will meet the undertail. This will keep the scrathes down and perhaps even eliminate any vibrations that might come from it (who knows).I bought the felt online from Harriet Carter.

Painted the exposed bolt faces as well. I purchased my own hardware because I needed to make the longer screw that is provided even longer to properly fit the license plate light (see below) and I wanted the screw heads to match. I used 1/4" bolts and it cost me pennies.

This is how the license plate light is mounted.
