R6 Suspension Setup Library

These are all settings sorted by weight using stock suspension unless otherwise indicated. Your final settings will probably vary but this is a good place to start until fine tuning.

Note: All compression and rebound measurements are from max or all the way turned in.

These settings might be a little more for the track but they work fine for the street, too, without having to change settings each time. As I pick the pace up I might be inclined to change settings for different conditions and purchase some suspension upgrades or replacements. I have 20K miles on the bike.

Aftershocks in Palo Alto reworked my suspension as follows...

Forks: 5wt oil @ 5.5 inches, Race Tech .90 springs & rebound kit. I set the forks at 35mm from top of fork tube to top of triple clamp (see diagram).

Shock: 5wt oil, 200psi nitrogen, 500 rate spring (stock) and revalved.

Mase, these are the factory settings. It would do you a world of good to properly set your sag as a 200 lb rider. Your bike is setup for someone weighing around 130 lbs. Contact me or check out the how-to for setting your bike up.
